The shoes can be very expensive and why spending a fortune when we can transform our old pair of shoes in completely new one! Gucci’s shoes can be made in couple of steps, so what should I say more? Before we start with DIY Glitter Platforms we notify that this can be messy so we recommend working outside and laying down newspaper to protect your workspace.
We need:
1. waterproof, permanent glue E-6000}
2. gold glitter
3. sponge brush
4. Old Platforms
Process:
We use flexible, waterproof, permanent glue that specifies it is safe for fabrics {we used E-6000}, we covered all areas of the shoe where we wanted to sparkle with the help of a sponge brush. While the glue is still tacky we covered the entire shoe with glitter. WE opted to use a gold glitter since we personally get more wear out of a gold platform rather than the multi-colored glitter version. We must make sure to wait at least 24 hours for everything to dry before attempting to touch up any bare spots.
